Look for “OTC Plus” on the green card. Healthfirst’s separate member ID card won’t pay for OTC purchases.

Before you come in

1. Check your plan and balance. Use your plan’s app, member website, or the phone number on your card. Check whether the card needs activation, how much is available, and when the allowance expires.
2. Ask about the exact item. Bandages, toothpaste, and some nonprescription pain relievers are examples to ask about. Give us the brand and package size. Two similar products can have different eligibility.
3. Bring your benefit card. Bring the card your plan tells you to use. At the counter, show it before paying so we can check the items. If an item is declined, ask us which item was affected before paying another way.

Can I arrange delivery?
